About Zac J Media
A creative home for honest voices.
African roots. Soul, folk, and Sussex. A community built one room at a time.
Zac J Media was founded by Isaac Jengwa, a Zimbabwean-born, UK-based singer-songwriter, storyteller, activist, and cultural visionary. His work carries the warmth of home, the movement of migration, and a belief that music can make unfamiliar places feel shared.
We create live experiences, develop artists, publish stories, and help venues build a dependable local rhythm. Everything begins with a real voice and ends with an open door.
The way we work
Make space. Tell the truth. Keep the door open.
Authentic storytelling
We keep the person and the lived experience close to the work.
Cross-cultural listening
We let African roots, Sussex life, soul, folk, and new ideas meet without flattening their differences.
Recurring community
The Circuit turns one good night into a monthly relationship between artists, venues, and neighbours.
Careful collaboration
We make the practical details feel held, so the creative work can breathe.
Isaac’s north star
Connection is not a campaign. It is a practice.
That means making room for the first-time performer, the curious listener, the local pub, the care-home resident, and the artist who needs a thoughtful partner. It means returning to the same towns, remembering names, and letting trust grow at human speed.
